An election was held for the United Trade Union Committee of the State Committee for Affairs of Refugees and Internally Displaced Persons

A reporting-election meeting was held at the United Trade Union Committee of the State Committee for Affairs of Refugees and Internally Displaced Persons. Firstly, the memory of the heroic martyrs who sacrificed their lives in the battles for the restoration of the territorial integrity and state sovereignty of our country was honored with a minute of silence.

Opening the meeting with an introductory speech, Deputy Chairman of the State Committee Fuad Huseynov stated that the trade union organization has recently achieved a positive turnaround in protecting the labor and social rights of employees, organizing their rest and leisure time, and implementing other activities within its powers.

At the meeting, the report of the chairman of the United Trade Union Committee of the State Committee for Affairs of Refugees and Internally Displaced Persons, Mustafagulu Aliyev, was heard. Then, the organization's Audit Commission presented its report. Both reports were discussed, the activities of the trade union organization were evaluated, opinions and proposals were voiced.

Next, the issue of electing the composition of the United Trade Union Committee was considered, candidates were nominated, and an open vote was held. Based on a result of the vote, a new composition was elected. The meeting participants supported the re-election of Mustafagulu Aliyev as chairman of the United Trade Union Committee of the State Committee for Affairs of Refugees and Internally Displaced Persons. The composition of the permanent commissions was also determined and their chairpersons were elected, and the new composition of the Audit Commission was approved.

Rahila Babayeva, a representative of the Republican Committee of Trade Unions of State Institutions and Public Service Workers, also attended and spoke at the meeting.
