The composition "Dreams of the Great Return" by the State Committee for Affairs of Refugees and Internally Displaced Persons of the Republic of Azerbaijan attracted significant interest from participants of the Supply Chain Leaders Summit, held in Baku for the first time. The event, which took place at the “Gulustan” Palace in Baku, saw the participation of nearly 600 specialists from 44 companies operating in our country.
During the event, it was noted that the extensive reconstruction and development works being carried out in the liberated territories of the Karabakh and East Zangazur economic regions under the leadership of President Ilham Aliyev have further expanded the geography of the supply chain and logistics capabilities in our country. The “Zangazur Corridor” which is expected to be realized soon, is anticipated to have a significant impact on the development of this process. It was mentioned that the implementation of the First State Program on the Great Return, the permanent settlement of former internally displaced persons in the restored and newly established settlements in the liberated territories, and their integration into economic activities highlight the importance of increasing the digital capabilities of the supply chain.
Event participants approached the “Dreams of the Great Return” composition exhibited by the State Committee in the foyer of the Gulustan Palace. They wrote their wishes regarding the return of former internally displaced persons to their native lands on special pieces of paper and attached them to a depiction of a geographical map of the liberated territories in the three colors of our national flag displayed on the stand. They also took photos with two special forces soldiers provided by the Ministry of Defense, who were standing by the stand. The participants, who highly valued the composition that instilled faith in the Great Return and a spirit of patriotism, also gave interviews for a promotional video.
Additionally, videos about the reconstruction and development works being carried out in Karabakh and East Zangazur, as well as the return and adaptation process of the residents to their native lands, were shown at the event.
