On April 27, a drawing was held at the State Committee for Affairs of Refugees and Internally Displaced Persons among families to be relocated to Sus village in Lachin district. The event was attended by senior officials of the State Committee, representatives of the Special Representative Office of the President of Azerbaijan in Lachin district, which is part of the Eastern Zangazur economic region, the Lachin District Executive Power, and the Public Council under the State Committee.
Newly constructed individual houses in Sus village are being allocated to internally displaced persons who have been temporarily residing in various locations and are permanently registered in the village. The drawing involved 59 families. According to the family compositions, 13 families will move into two-room houses, 28 families into three-room houses, 14 families into four-room houses, and 4 families into five-room houses.
The residents of Sus village, who will soon return to their native land for permanent residence, expressed their immense joy and deep gratitude to President Ilham Aliyev and First Vice President Mehriban Aliyeva for the conditions created in the liberated territories and the care shown to them.
The relocation of the families who participated in the drawing to Sus village in Lachin district will begin in the coming days.
