With the support of the Management Union of Medical Territorial Units (TABIB), the State Committee for Affairs of Refugees and IDPs of the Republic of Azerbaijan organized an informative training on initial medical aid for responsible employees traveling to the liberated territories.
A two-day training conducted by the doctors of the Republican Emergency and Urgent Medical Care Center focused on providing first aid to victims in case of any unfortunate events. Participants were instructed on sudden heart attacks, fainting, injuries, and how to administer first aid and perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation without medication and other supportive means until the arrival of a doctor.
It has been reported that the fact of saving thousands of lives as a result of providing proper initial medical aid is recorded in the country and world practice numerous times. Participants of the training were provided with informative brochures on "Mine Safety for IDPs," published within the framework of the implementation of the I State Program on Great Return, and relevant information on the subject was provided.
It should be noted that educational events are regularly organized by the State Committee for Affairs of Refugees and IDPs. Earlier this year, informative trainings on mine safety were conducted for schoolchildren in the Ramana settlement of the Sabunchu district, organized by the State Committee, where IDPs temporarily reside.
