An infotour was organized to the village of Aghali, Zangilan district by the State Committee for Affairs of Refugees and Internally Displaced Persons according to the First State Program for the Great Return to the territories liberated from occupation, within the framework of information, outreach and advocacy activities for the return of internally displaced persons to newly created settlements.
Infotur participants were provided with information on the application of the measures specified in the 1st State Program and the tasks implemented by President Ilham Aliyev. Participants in the infotour got acquainted with the living conditions of the returning population in the first settlement built on the basis of the “smart village” concept in the liberated territories - the village of Aghali visited a school, kindergarten, medical facility and other infrastructure facilities and talked with residents.
Residents expressed their appreciation for the environment created in the village. They also talked about the new jobs created. They stated that the efforts undertaken in relation to employment measures had a positive effect on improving social welfare. Infotur participants took photos and videos that reflected the daily lives and occupations of Aghali residents. The questions were answered they were interested in them.
Executives and employees of several private creative entities, as well as delegates of companies that are partners of the State Committee on information, propaganda and promotion activities, participated in the infotour.
The participants of the tour stated that the infotour was productive and effective. Information tours to liberated areas will continue within the framework of the Action Plan of the I State Program on the Great Return.
