On June 8, the State Committee of the Republic of Azerbaijan for Affairs of Refugees and IDPs held a cultural-mass event “Great Return: The Road starting from Tent Camps” on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of Great Leader Heydar Aliyev at the International Mugham Center in Baku.

About 60 photos in the exhibition show the image of Heydar Aliyev as a wise leader, a beloved national leader who shares the pains of his people, works selflessly to ease and eliminate them, takes care of citizens suffering from war, instills in them hope for the future and faith that our lands will be freed from occupation. Each of the photos is presented with an introductory text in Azerbaijani and English.
Then, the participants of the event watched a movie about the state policy implemented by Great Leader Heydar Aliyev in the field of work with refugees and IDPs, large-scale measures taken to solve social problems, improve living conditions and increase employment of people of this category. After the screening of the movie, IDP intellectuals shared their memories of the Great Leader. The speech of the Deputy of Milli Majlis academician Rafael Huseynov about the life and statehood activities of the national leader of our people was met with great interest.
