A joint event was held at the State Committee For Affairs of Refugees and Internally Displaced Persons with the Yasamal district organization of the New Azerbaijan Party (NAP) in connection with the "Year of Heydar Aliyev".

First of all, the participants commemorated the dear memories of the Great Leader Heydar Aliyev and our martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan with a minute of silence.

Chairman of the State Committee Rovshan Rzayev stated that, proud citizens of independent and victorious Azerbaijan always highly value the unparalleled services of national leader, phenomenal personality Heydar Aliyev and commemorate his dear memory with deep respect and reverence. The declaration of 2023 as the "Year of Heydar Aliyev" by the relevant Decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan was called a historical event and the participants were informed that this is a great opportunity for a closer study of the exceptional services, rich life and activities of the great personality Heydar Aliyev. It was stated that Azerbaijan Army realized the greatest dream of the great leader Heydar Aliyev- the liberation of our occupied territories, under the leadership of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief, President Ilham Aliyev.

Bakhtiyar Nabiyev, chairman of the Yasamal District Organization of the New Azerbaijan Party (NAP), spoke about the great leader Heydar Aliyev's unparalleled services to our people. He also ponted out that there are historical figures who play an exceptional role in the destiny of every nation and doing a rescue mission. This historical figure in the history of Azerbaijani people is our national leader Heydar Aliyev. Heydar Aliyev is a genius leader who worked for the development and progress of his native people throughout his life and saved his people from the difficulties they faced. Today, President Ilham Aliyev has turned independent Azerbaijan, founded by Heydar Aliyev, into a powerful and authoritative state in the world. The basis of all the achieved successes is the policy of Heydar Aliyev.

At the event, the applications of 13 employees working in the Committee for join the ranks of New Azerbaijan Party (NAP) were considered and accepted as members of the party. Certificates of  honor were presented to a group of employees who are members of  New Azerbaijan Party (NAP).

Vusal Babayev, a member of the New Azerbaijan Party Committee, made a speech at the event and said that, to be a member of the New Azerbaijan Party, a party of development and modernity at such a significant time, is both a responsibility and an active citizenship position, as well as a great honor.
