According to the order of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, based on the schedule of reception of citizens by the heads of the central executive authorities in cities and regions, the Chairman of the State Committee for Affairs of Refugees and IDPs Rovshan Rzayev received citizens in Yevlakh on January 30.
The reception was attended by citizens from Yevlakh, Agdash and Goychay regions, most of whom were IDPs temporarily settled in those areas.
In the appeals, the issues of granting special-purpose residential areas belonging to the state housing fund, repairing temporary residential areas, allocating a single monthly allowance, employment and preparation for the Great Return prevailed.
It was once again mentioned at the reception that President Ilham Aliyev took necessary measures to strengthen the social protection of IDPs, and that First Vice-President Mrs. Mehriban Aliyeva paid special attention and care to people from this category. Citizens were informed about the state of implementation of the tasks given by the head of our state for the restoration of territories freed from occupation and the return of IDPs to their native homes. It was reported that residential areas for IDPs are being built only in territories freed from occupation, and the works in this field will be accelerated in the coming years. During the return, which will be carried out in stages, first of all, those living in the most difficult conditions in temporary settlements will be moved to new apartments.
Some of the issues raised by citizens during the reception were resolved on the spot. The Chairman of the State Committee said that other issues raised in the appeals will be investigated in a short time and appropriate measures will be taken.
