The next meeting of the Public Council under the State Committee for Affairs of Refugees and Internally Displaced Persons was held. During the meeting, the current situation of the Great Return process to the liberated territories, the response to citizens’ appeals, and future action plans were extensively discussed.
At the meeting, a report by the Chairman of the Public Council, Anar Khalilov, on the work carried out during the current activity period was presented. Thus, the mechanisms for registering and responding to appeals from citizens wishing to return to the liberated territories were reviewed, and information was provided on the work carried out to ensure the protection of social justice principles and citizen satisfaction during the return process. The effectiveness of the meetings held to address questions arising during the resettlement process on-site was also highlighted.
Deputy Chairman of the State Committee, Fuad Huseynov, who participated in the meeting, praised the activities of the Public Council and emphasized the importance of state–civil society relations. He stated that the opinions and proposals of the Public Council members play an important role in further improving the return process. Fuad Huseynov also spoke about the future goals and strategic tasks ahead of the institution.
