On April 21, Chairman of the State Committee for Affairs of Refugees and Internally Displaced Persons Rovshan Rzayev held another reception of citizens. During the reception, citizens’ appeals were carefully listened to. It was stated that the issues raised would be examined in accordance with established procedures and resolved in line with the legislation.

It was emphasized that the instructions given by President Ilham Aliyev to ensure comfortable and safe living conditions for former internally displaced persons in their native homelands are being implemented consistently, and that First Vice-President Mehriban Aliyeva closely monitors the restoration and reconstruction works carried out in the liberated territories, with relevant measures being taken in accordance with her directives.

The Committee Chairman noted that, in line with the restoration works in the liberated territories, former internally displaced persons living in аварious and difficult conditions are being relocated in stages as a priority. Citizens’ appeals mainly concerned return to the liberated territories, the principles of relocation, participation in surveys, employment, improvement of housing and living conditions in temporary settlement areas, utility services, status, the unified monthly allowance, and other social issues.
