A free mobile medical service campaign was held for IDPs in Yeni Chalabikhan settlement of the city organized by the management of Shaki Central Hospital at the initiative of the territorial office of the State Committee for Refugees and IDPs.

It was stated that the measures taken under the guidance of the President Ilham Aliyev for sustainable development of healthcare in our country ensure more reliable protection of public health. The head of state pays constant attention to addressing the social problems of IDPs, including their provision with quality medical services. Heydar Aliyev Foundation, managed by the First Vice President Mrs. Mehriban Aliyeva, treats the appeals of IDPs, as well as all citizens in a sensitive way, assists the process of organizing their examination and treatment, and performing complex surgeries. Medical centers also operate in the settlements built for IDPs T the order of the President.

Mobile medical service organized in Yeni Chalabikhan settlement was provided by 12 doctors of different specialties. IDPs were first informed about coronavirus and preventive measures against it. Those who applied regarding fever, cough, and sore throat were examined immediately. In addition, IDPs were given the opportunity to be examined for dental, cardiological, endocrinological and other diseases in the campaign. A team of doctors examined more than 160 IDPs. Depending on the results of examinations, they were given relevant recommendations and medical instructions.
