Rovshan Rzayev, Chairman of the State Committee for Refugees and IDPs, held a meeting in the settlement newly put into use for IDPs in Kurdakhani settlement of Baku.

Chairman of the State Committee spoke about important directions of the state policy in the field of work with refugees and IDPs, work implemented and the tasks set by the head of state. It was noted that the President Ilham Aliyev pays particular attention to improvement of the housing and living conditions of IDPs. Measures are being taken to improve their housing and living conditions, new residential complexes are being built in Baku and regions. First Vice President Mrs. Mehriban Aliyeva also pays particular attention and care to the solution of housing, education and health problems of IDPs, she performs important work in this field.

Chairman of the State Committee listened to lots of appeals of IDPs participating in the meeting and answered their questions. Appeals were mainly related to improvement of housing and living conditions and water supply, employment, job opportunities, etc. All written and verbal appeals were recorded. It was reported that they will be considered by the State Committee, and an official response will be given accordingly. 

The IDPs who made speech at the event expressed their satisfaction with the care and attention shown by our state and thanked the country administration.
