Protection of health of the citizens of country and improvement of the quality of health services are one of the priorities of our state’s social policy. According to the task of the President Ilham Aliyev, necessary measures are taken to involve the population in medical prophylactic examination every year.
First Vice President Mrs. Mehriban Aliyeva and Heydar Aliyev Foundation headed by her, also implement projects in the field of health, provide assistance necessary for the examination and treatment of the citizens who have special needs for social protection.
According to the recommendation of the head of the country, the State Committee on Deals of Refugees and Internally Displaced Persons supports the use of high-quality medical service by our compatriots displaced from their native lands at the places where they are directly temporarily settled. The medical examination campaign, which is already a tradition, held on April 5 in Lokbatan settlement of Garadagh district.
Doctors brigade of the Republican Clinical Hospital named after academician M.A.Mirgasimov consisting of 20 people, most of whom are scientific and higher degree professionalists, examined the internally displaced persons and provided medical services to them at the polyclinic department of the united hospital No.19 of the Ministry of Health located at the settlement.
The internally displaced persons temporarily settled in Garadagh district were informed about the campaign beforehand.
About 400 internally displaced persons were examined within the framework of the campaign. Those who had health problems were initially diagnosed and treatment was appointed. Those who are in more severe condition were sent to hospital.
Chief Physician of the Republican Clinical Hospital Telman Ibadov and Chief Physician of the United Hospital No. 19 Elchin Huseynov controlled the course of campaign.
Internally displaced persons expressed their gratitude to the country management for the attention and care paid to their health.
Medical campaigns are planned to be held in other settlements constructed for internally displaced persons as well.
