Based on the instruction of the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and in accordance with the schedule of reception of citizens in the cities and regions by the heads of central executive powers, on February 27, Rovshan Rzayev, the Chairman of the State Committee for Refugees and IDPs received citizens in Goranboy. The IDPs temporarily settled in Goranboy, Ganja, Naftalan and Shamkir attended the reception. The appeals were mainly related to housing, employment, single monthly allowance, status and other issues. The appeals of citizens were listened to and detailed explanations were given to them. It was noted that the President Ilham Aliyev implements consistent measures to strengthen social protection of IDPs and persons equated to them and increase state care to citizens of this category. The decision to increase the amount of single monthly allowance 50% for such people from April 1 is the next obvious proof of such care. The solution of housing and living problems of IDPs is also in the center of attention. According to the instruction of the head our state, this year, 6-7 thousand internally displaced families are planned to be provided with new apartments. The instruction given by the First Vice President Mrs. Mehriban Aliyeva about relocation of IDPs, the buildings and structures in which they temporarily settled are damaged, still living under severe conditions to new apartments in the first stage is being executed. Protection of the health of refugees and IDPs, improvement of their social state, increasing of their employment and other issues also takes an important place in the projects implemented by Heydar Aliyev Foundation. A part of the appeals of the citizens attended the reception was resolved on the spot. Chairman of the State Committee said that the issues raised in the appeals will be investigated in a short time and appropriate measures will be taken.
