Rovshan Rzayev, Chairman of the State Committee for Refugees and IDPs, received citizens in Yeni Khojavand settlement of Beylagan. IDPs temporarily settled in Beylagan attended the reception. The appeal of each of them was individually considered. Appeals were mainly related to improvement of housing and living conditions, employment, utilities, status and other issues. It was noted that the improvement of the housing and living conditions of IDPs is in the center of attention of the President Ilham Aliyev. By now, 102 settlements supplied with all necessary infrastructures have been built for them, and construction of new residential complexes in different parts of the country is underway. 146 individual houses are being constructed in Beylagan. These houses will be given to internally displaced families living under the most severe conditions. The First Vice President Mrs. Mehriban Aliyeva keeps the execution of her instruction to improve the housing and living conditions of such families under constant control. The IDPs who have to live in life-threatening conditions for many years are provided with new apartments in the first place. The issues raised by the citizens will be promptly investigated and appropriate measures according to the legislation will be taken.
