On January 15, the State Committee for Refugees and IDPs held the next reception of citizens. Chairman of the State Committee Rovshan Rzayev, deputy chairmen, head of administration, heads of divisions and departments received citizens and listened to their appeals. The appeals of IDPs were mainly related to improvement of housing and living conditions, determination of single monthly allowance, employment, utilities and other issues. It was noted that the President Ilham Aliyev pays constant attention to address social problems of IDPs and allocates necessary funds from the state budget to improve their housing and living conditions. It was underlined that more than 300 thousand of IDPs have been provided with new houses and apartments by now, and this process is being continued. It was reminded that the First Vice President Mrs. Mehriban Aliyeva shows special care to the IDPs still living under the most severe conditions in the damaged buildings and structures, she gave an instruction about providing them with apartments in newly-built settlements in the first place, and implementation of that instruction is being continued. Citizens were received individually and the appeal of each of them was recorded accordingly. Chairman of the Committee gave instruction to the divisions and departments to investigate and lawfully resolve the issues raised in the appeals.
