The Chairman of the State Committee met with IDPs in Sabunchu

On August 27, Rovshan Rzayev, the Chairman of the State Committee for Affairs of Refugees and IDPs, met with IDPs temporarily settled in Bakikhanov and Zabrat settlements, Sabunchu district of Baku. The Chairman of the State Committee got familiarized with the living conditions of IDPs and took great interest in the problems and difficulties they faced. Participants were given detailed information on the state policy pursued to improve the housing and living conditions of IDPs. It was noted that providing IDPs with new apartments is being implemented in stages. The President Ilham Aliyev attaches great care to the problems of IDPs. The First Vice President Mrs. Mehriban Aliyeva pays great attention to the implementation of projects in this field. As a result of the care shown by the government to IDPs, the number of internally displaced people provided with new apartments is increasing every year. At the same time, projects are being implemented to ensure their employment and improve their material well-being. The Chairman of the Committee attentively listened to the appeals of the meeting participants and gave detailed explanations on the issues addressed.
