On 21 August, the State Committee for Affairs of Refugees and IDPs held the next reception of IDPs. Chairman Rovshan Rzayev, Deputy Chairmen, heads of divisions and departments of the State Committee attended the reception. At the reception, the appeals of IDPs on housing and living conditions, utilities, status, employment were listened individually and detailed explanations were given to them. It was noted that the work to address the problems of internally displaced persons residing in damaged buildings, as well as improve housing and living conditions is being implemented in stages. 98 settlements have been built for them until today. The President Ilham Aliyev always attaches great attention and care to the problems of our citizens from this category. The First Vice President Mrs. Mehriban Aliyeva gave instructions to accelerate the work carried out in connection with the IDPs residing in damaged buildings and the most severe conditions. All the work done shows that the problems of internally displaced persons are always in the center of attention and take priority. Applications of the IDPs attended the reception were recorded by the representatives of relevant departments. The Chairman of the State Committee instructed to investigate the appeals and take appropriate actions in accordance with law.
