On May 25, the State Committee for Refugees and IDPs organized an info tour for “SABAH” students from the occupied regions. The purpose of the info-tour is to inform “SABAH’ students about the activities of the State Committee for Refugees and IDPs and encourage them to work in the Committee in the future. Meeting with the students, the Chairman of the State Committee Rovshan Rzayev informed about the main activities of the Committee. He spoke about the work done by the Azerbaijani government to address the problems of IDPs. He noted that this humanist policy, founded by the Great Leader Heydar Aliyev, is being successfully continued by the head of our state Ilham Aliyev. Large-scale projects are being implemented by Heydar Aliyev Foundation at the initiative of the First Vice President Mrs. Mehriban Aliyeva. Speaking about the opening of “Gobu Park” residential complex built for IDPs near Lokbatan settlement on May 24, the Chairman of the State Committee underlined that nowhere in the world such conditions had been created for IDPs. He stated that the achievements and experience gained by Azerbaijan in this field are now regarded as a model throughout the world and highly appreciated by international organizations. The activity of “SABAH” group was touched upon at the event and the importance of this project regarding the education of Azerbaijani youth complied with individual and modern requirements, was discussed. It was emphasized that “SABAH” group students had been trained in various government agencies to ensure staff training of highly qualified and skilled students within the project and that all conditions will be created for them in the State Committee for Refugees and IDPs to improve as professional staff in the future as well. At the end of the meeting the questions of interest were answered.
