The State Committee for Affairs of the Refugees and IDPs staff, as well as those from its affiliated institutions, participated in an educational program on ethical behavior standards, how to handle violations of them, what to do in the event that one occurs, and how to avoid them altogether.
The training took place in line with the “Strategy for the development of the civil service in the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2019–2025” Action plan, which was authorized by Order No. 739 of Republic of Azerbaijan President Ilham Aliyev on November 23, 2018.
President Ilham Aliyev has expanded and maintained the reforms implemented by national leader Heydar Aliyev in the state administration system, according to Mirhuseyn Huseynov, deputy chairman of the State Committee’s Law and Human Resources Department. Our country’s management system has been enhanced, and new management organizations have been formed.
The participants were provided with comprehensive information regarding the legal framework governing the ethical conduct of civil servants, official conduct regulation, ethical conduct rules and guidelines for their enforcement, oversight by the commissioner for ethical conduct, the head of a state agency, and consequences for breaking ethical conduct regulations.
It is important to highlight that educational discussion about the “Rules of Ethical Behavior of Civil Servants” and the “On Civil Service” laws of the Republic of Azerbaijan are routinely held for staff members of the State Committee’s apparatus and subordinate institutions.
