In connection with the 33rd anniversary of the events of January 20, on January 18, the State Committee for Refugees and Internally Displaced Persons held an action of voluntary blood donation under the motto “Our blood is one, our soul is one.” The action was aimed at helping to protect the health of our soldiers who protect the territorial integrity of our country and the inviolability of our borders.
Employees of the State Committee donated blood as voluntary donors as part of the action carried out by the medical team of the mobile blood transfusion unit of the Main Clinical Hospital of the Ministry of Defense, consisting of 12 people.
The provided blood samples will be used in the treatment of patients after being checked at the mobile blood transfusion unit of the Main Clinical Hospital.
The participants of the action said that it is good to donate blood in order to preserve the health of our servicemen, who adequately fulfill their duty. They noted that active participation in such actions is a civic duty. Currently, 1,395 internally displaced persons, 43 members of martyr families, 20 war invalids and 114 war veterans work in the State Committee and its subordinate structures. Most of them actively participated in today’s action.
It should be noted that the action of voluntary blood donation under the motto “Our blood is one, our soul is one” is being held in the State Committee together with the Ministry of Defense for the third time.
