On May 19, in accordance with the schedule of reception of citizens by the heads of central executive authorities in cities and regions, the chairman of the State Committee for Affairs of Refugees and IDPs Rovshan Rzayev received citizens from Mingachevir and Yevlakh cities in Mingachevir.

Citizens living in Mingachevir and Yevlakh cities, most of whom were IDPs in those areas attended the reception. The appeals were mostly about the provision of special residential areas belonging to the state housing fund, repair in temporary residential areas, the establishment of a single monthly allowance, employment and the Great Return.

It was noted that large-scale landscaping and construction works were carried out in the territories liberated from occupation under the leadership of President Ilham Aliyev, and First Vice President Mehriban Aliyeva paid special attention and care to this category of people. It was noted that the IDPs will be provided with new apartments in the territories liberated from occupation. At the same time, the committee is cooperating with local and international organizations to ensure the employment of IDPs returning to their homeland.

Some of the issues raised by citizens during the reception were resolved on the spot. The chairman of the State Committee said that the issues raised in the appeals will be investigated as soon as possible and appropriate measures will be taken.
