By order of President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, according to the schedule of citizens’ reception in cities and districts of central executive power bodies, Chairman of the State Committee for Affairs of Refugees and Internally Displaced Persons Rovshan Rzayev received citizens in Goranboy on March 14.

IDPs temporarily settled mainly in Goranboy attended the reception. Appeals were related to provision of special residential areas by the State Housing Fund, appointment of the monthly allowance and employment issues.

It was noted that President Ilham Aliyev took necessary measures in strengthening social protection of IDPs and Mrs. Mehriban Aliyeva paid special attention and care for such people. People were informed on the implementation status of tasks assigned by President for restoration of occupied territories, return of IDPs to their homeland. It was also stressed that residential buildings for IDPs were constructed in only liberated territories and these works would be further accelerated. During the return that will be carried out step-by-step, firstly people living in temporary residential areas in poor conditions will be relocated to new houses.

Some of issues raised by citizens during the reception were solved on the spot. Relevant instructions were given for investigating other issues and taking necessary actions.
