Ali Hasanov, Deputy Prime Minister meets a delegation from the Islamic Republic of Iran

Seyyid Rza Nayyuri, Healthcare Minister’s Consultant of the Republic of Iran and General Secretary of the Republican Healthcare Charity Union, who is paying a visit to our country, met with Ali Hasanov, Deputy Prime Minister, Head of the State Committee on Refugees and IDPs Issues. Mr. Ali Hasanov welcomed S.R.Nayyuri, who had been the Head of the Imdad Committee of the IIR for twenty eight years, and mentioned that the Representation of the Organization, operating in the country since 1994, is among the ones those implement large scale and durable projects in our republic. Having touched on the fact that the organization’s significant efforts in assisting refugees, IDPs and vulnerable people through relief, healthcare and education programs during the period when the economic situation of Azerbaijan was difficult, Ali Hasanov, Head of the SCR, stated the importance of the organization’s activity in the field, expressed his pleasure for the cooperation with the organization headed by Seyyid Rza Nayyuri. Talking about the pleasant memories from meetings with government body representatives during his visit to Azerbaijan in December 2002, A.Hasanov reminded also about the visit of Ilham Aliyev, the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the office of Imdad Committee named after Imam Khomeyni on 25 January 2005 within the framework of the President’s visit to Iran, as well as the meeting with Seyyid Rza Nayyuri, who then was the Head of the Committee. Seyyid Rza Nayyuri stated that the social-economic policy yields its benefits. “Azerbaijan has passed 100 years development way only for 7-8 years under the leadership of the President Ilham Aliyev” said the guest and expressed his excitement and delight for the rapid development of our republic. Talking about the activity of the agency managed by him, the Secretary General of the Healthcare Charity informed that the number of members of the Union is over ten thousand and briefed about the projects implemented by the organization in Iran and in other countries. He also said that the works done by the organization in the healthcare field in Iran have played significant role in the development of healthcare in the country. Mammadbagir Bahrami, Ambassador of the IIR took part in the meeting.
