On May 18, Rovshan Rzayev, the Chairman of the State Committee for Refugees and IDPs, met with Ms. Gwen Burchell, the Head of the United Aid for Azerbaijan (UAFA). UAFA`s activities were highly appreciated and the importance of the organization`s projects implemented in Azerbaijan was underlined at the meeting. It was noted that major projects related with children, their healthy future are being implemented in the country, and this policy is being continued. It was stated that important projects related with comprehensive development of children, provision of them with educational and medical services complying with modern requirements, solution of child problems are being implemented by Heydar Aliyev Foundation under the leadership of Mehriban Aliyeva, the First Vice President of Azerbaijan. It was noted that UAFA has free social service centers for children and their families in the regions as well, along with Baku. It was stated that the organization is always ready to support internally displaced families and children who are in need of care.
