On May 16, Rovshan Rzayev, the Chairman of the State Committee for Refugees and IDPs, met with internally displaced persons settled in several sanatoria and damaged administrative buildings in Khazar district of Baku with Deputy Chairmen of the State Committee. Rovshan Rzayev visited the places where IDPs live, got acquainted with their problems on the spot, talked with residents, listened to their concerns and answered their questions. Emphasizing that the President Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva are constantly paying attention to the improvement of the social conditions of refugees and internally displaced persons, the Chairman of the State Committee said that the state treats these group of citizens with special care. Speaking about the implementation of several projects by Heydar Aliyev Foundation at the initiative of the First Vice President Mrs. Mehriban Aliyeva recently, Rovshan Rzayev said that necessary steps will be taken to address housing problems of internally displaced persons settled in the damaged buildings. The Chairman of the State Committee stated that the necessary work will be carried out in stages and systematically to address the problems, including housing problems of internally displaced persons living in more difficult conditions. R.Rzayev emphasized that such meetings with IDPs are intended to be organized in other regions and cities as well.
