On May 11, Rovshan Rzayev, the Chairman of the State Committee for Refugees and IDPs met with internally displaced persons settled in a number of dormitories and administrative buildings located at Khatai, Binagadi and Narimanov districts of Baku. The Chairman of the State Committee visited the places where internally displaced persons live and familiarized with their problems on the spot. Underlying that the President Ilham Aliyev always keeps refugees and internally displaced persons in the center of attention, the Chairman of the State Committee said that great work is constantly being done by the head of the country to further improve their living conditions. He underlined that modern-type buildings are being constructed for IDPs by Heydar Aliyev Foundation at the initiative of the First Vice President of Azerbaijan Mrs. Mehriban Aliyeva, and steps are being taken to solve the problems of internally displaced persons settled in the damaged buildings in recent years. He noted that the problems of internally displaced persons living in the damaged buildings will be solved in stages. R.Rzayev emphasized that such meetings with IDPs are intended to be organized in other regions as well. Deputy Chairmen of the State Committee, representatives of Narimanov, Binagadi and Khatai District Executive Powers attended the meeting.
