On December 10, the event on the subject “Solving the problems of refugees and internally displaced persons has always been in the center of attention of great leader Heydar Aliyev” was held in the State Committee on Deals of Refugees and IDPs in connection with the 10th anniversary of the death of Azerbaijan’s national leader Heydar Aliyev. Administration of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, representatives of the Cabinet of Ministers, deputies of Milli Majlis, heads of executive authorities of the occupied territories, the management of the Social Development Fund for Internally Displaced Persons and officials of the Committee. Ceremony attendees firstly watched models reflecting the measures taken in the country on improving living conditions of refugees and internally displaced persons. Afterwards, the book “President’s care for refugees and internally displaced persons” have been presented both in Azerbaijani and English languages. Then, the event participants laid flowers at the monument of great leader Heydar Aliyev. In his opening speech Deputy Prime Minister, Chairman of the State Committee on Deals of Refugees and IDPs, Mr. Ali Hasanov spoke about invaluable services, unprecedented work done by great leader Heydar Aliyev in strengthening our independence, development of our statehood for the people of Azerbaijan. By reminding Heydar Aliyev’s address to our people, dated October 1, 2003, Ali Hasanov stated that the national leader, who had devoted greater part of his life to the statehood of Azerbaijan and to our country’s economic, political, and moral development, in this address as well noted that he had gained all his strength and will only from our wise and appreciative people. In the most difficult times, the Great Leader relied on nothing else but Azerbaijani people. The Deputy Prime Minister emphasized that nowadays almost all the issues mentioned in that address of the Great Leader have been resolved. This has been possible due to the successful continuation of National Leader’s policy by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev. Subsequently, the deputy of Milli Majlis Flora Gasimova took the floor and underscored that the national leader Heydar Aliyev honorably fulfilled emancipation and reconstruction mission by taking the responsibility of ruling the state in the most complicated and crucial phase of Azerbaijan during the first years of our independence and left an all-time mark in the history of our nation as the most distinguished personality. The deputy of Khojali district executive authority Vahid Aliyev also spoke of the invaluable services of the national leader Heydar Aliyev for Azerbaijani people and highlighted that the immortal ideas of the great leader were successfully implemented by Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev.
