Results of nine-month and forthcoming duties were discussed at a board meeting of the State Committee on deals of refugees and IDPs

A board meeting dedicated to the results of the State Committee on Refugees and IDPs in nine months of the current year was held by the presidency of Deputy Prime Minister, Chairman of the State Committee on Refugees and IDPs Ali Hasanov. By discussing duties that have been put forward in the speech with the character of program of the meeting dedicated to the results and forthcoming duties of socia-economic development in 9 months of 2013 of the Cabinet of Ministers chaired by president of Azerbaijan Republic Mr. Ilham Aliyev, it was firstly stated in the board meeting that achievement of sustainable socio-economic development in the country, the great success achieved in the last ten years have provided the next election victory of President Ilham Aliyev. Like all the Azerbaijani people, refugees and IDPs also value this victory as a natural outcome of the targeted internal and external policy of our President. While speaking about deals held in the State Committee on Refugees and IDPs within the report it was stated that throughout this period management and employees of the Committee and local units have regularly contacted with compatriots of this class, conducted necessary work on investigation of their social problems, timely elimination of encountered difficulties. The main goal of collective activities of the State Committee on Refugees and IDPs is still improving communal living conditions in places where especially IDPs live in compact - hotels, boarding houses, sanatorium and other residential objects, achieving settlement of problems bothering them in this respect. Thus, as mentioned at a board meeting, in association with the implementation of the Annexes to “State program on the improvement of living conditions of refugees and IDPs and the increase of employment among them” made by the order dated 31 October 2007, that has been ratified by the order of the President of Azerbaijan Republic, transfer of IDP families temporarily resided in Finnish- type settlement and schools in Mingachevir, BSU dormitories in Yasamal district, partially constructed building of First Aid Station, located in Hamza Babashov str., 9th microdistrict, Binagadi district, dormitories of State Oil Academy and Gabala district to newly constructed residential complexes was provided. In addition, for the movement of IDPs inhabited at schools of Barda district, preparation work for resettlement of families to newly constructed settlement for 886 families was completed, these works will also be started soon. By summing up the board meeting, Deputy Prime Minister, Chairman of the State Committee on Refugees and IDPs Ali Hasanov, positively evaluated the work of the collective within the previous period on the whole, spoke about the forthcoming tasks by expressing his attitude to discussion of the issues included to the meeting’s agenda.
