To the attention of IDPs temporarily settled in Baku city and Absheron district

In respect of numerous applications made to the State Committee for Deals of Refugees and IDPs we state that the improvement of social and living conditions of IDPs is implemented on a staged basis by taking into consideration families with the worst living conditions in accordance with the “State Program for improvement of living conditions of refugees and IDPs and increase of employment among them” confirmed by the Decree No. 298 dated July 1, 2004 and Annexes to that State Program. 61 settlement consisting of 2,2 million square meters and private houses were constructed, 120 schools, 6 music schools, 33 kindergartens, 33 medical centers, 37 community centers, 28 communication centers were built, 490,6 km roadway, 644,0 km water pipeline, 1059,0 km air power line, 310,0 km gas pipeline, 75,5 km canalization, 20 km heat pipeline were constructed, 581 power transformers of various capacity were installed for 37,0 thousand family or more than 166 IDPs at the cost of funds allocated by the State Oil Fund and other resources during 2003-2013. As a media office of the State Committee for Deals of Refugees and IDPs we bring to the notice of temporary settled IDPs in the territory of Baku city and Absheron district that the relocation of IDPs living in the worst conditions to the new built multi-storey residential building complex in Mushvigabad village of Garadagh region and Masazir settlement of Absheron district was completed. We emphasize that certain measures are assumed by the State Committee for Deals of Refugees and IDPs for the improvement of social condition of IDPs living in the territory of Baku city and Absheron district. Project operations will be started in the territory of Gobu municipality of Absheron district in 2014 with a view to settle 8000 family there in the initial stage. Relocation process of IDPs to that territory will be started as soon as installation of residential estate’s technical platform will be completed in 2015 and construction of apartments in 2016. We bring to the notice of IDPs once again that the solution of problems of IDPs is in the daily control of the State and the Committee and activities in this field are carried out in a staged manner.
