Construction works in new settlement in Ganja for internally displayed persons are going on rapidly

In accordance with the "State Program for Improving living conditions and increasing employment of refugees and internally displaced persons", the construction of 25 multi-storeyed buildings, each of them being 5-storeyed, is underway in the settlement established in the area of 25 hectares in Ganja. The construction of 150 one-room, 650 two-room, 550 three-room, 150 four-room flats are intended. Besides, a 1200-seat school, 280-bed kindergarten, administrative, 500-seat club buildings, a music school, a medical centre and an ATE (automatic telephone exchange) are being constructed in the settlement. In order to be familiar with the states of the construction works in the settlement, the Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of the State Committee for Deals of Refugees and IDPs Ali Hasanov paid a visit to the site in Ganja. Thereafter there was held a meeting with the heads of construction companies. The Deputy Minister delivered a speech on the events implemented by the President towards the improvement of living conditions of refugees and internally displaced persons. Such residential complexes are presently being constructed in eight regions of the country and it will set the stage for direct solution of housing problems of refugees and IDPs in the near future. Noting that the largest of these settlements was constructed in Ganja, Ali Hasanov added that every company operating at the site had to fulfil its work in time and high-quality.
