Meeting in connection with construction works in estates for IDPs

On April 11, the Deputy Prime Minister, chairman of the State Committee for Deals of Refugees and IDPs Ali Hasanov visited the new estate built for IDPs in Mingachevir. He also met with the IDPs settled in the territory of Mingachevir and got familiar with their problems. Mr. Ali Hasanov visited Ganja and Barda to know actual sate of construction works, talked with constructors, listened to their requests and proposals, gave his recommendations. Having seeing the construction works under way in the settlement, the Deputy Prime Minister Ali Hasanov held a meeting with the heads of construction companies carrying out the such works. Ali Hasanov, making a speech at the meeting, stated that living conditions of thousands of refugees were improved by care and attention of the President of Azerbaijan Republic Ilham Aliyev. Pursuant to the State Program, lots of buildings are being constructed in Baku, Absheron, Ganja, Balakan, Ismayilli, Gabala, Imishli, Barda and other regions or cities. The Deputy Prime Minister, chairman of the State Committee for Deals of Refugees and IDPs said the residential area being built in Ganja was the largest among the other settlements constructed under the orders of the president. 1500 families are expected to be settled in this area. The construction works are carried out fast according to the president's instructions and recommendations, and great attention is paid to the quality. Representatives of the construction companies made speech at the meeting, stated no problem occurred with the relevant works and sufficient equipment, labour, construction materials were available. There was decided that the settlement should be handed over in high quality together with the whole infrastructure by the end of the August. The meeting was concluded by the Deputy Prime Minister, chairman of the State Committee for Deals of Refugees and IDPs Ali Hasanov.
