A training on “The Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan on Combating Corruption” and “Awareness-Raising on Anti-Corruption Measures” was held for the employees of the structural divisions of the State Committee for Affairs of Refugees and Internally Displaced Persons. The purpose of the training was to enhance awareness about the implementation of existing regulations.

Mirhuseyn Huseynov, Deputy Head of the Legal and Human Resources Department of the State Committee for Affairs of Refugees and Internally Displaced Persons, provided detailed information to the participants on the concept of corruption, the subjects, types and responsibilities associated with corruption-related offenses, international practices in combating corruption, methods and tools for combating corruption, and the handling of complaints related to corruption.

It was noted that under the leadership of President Ilham Aliyev, an effective state governance system has been established in Azerbaijan, and combating corruption has become one of the priority areas.

The training was conducted within the framework of the “National Action Plan for Strengthening the Fight Against Corruption for 2022-2026”, approved by the Presidential Decree No. 3199 of April 4, 2022. About 30 employees of the committee participated in the training.

The awareness-raising event concluded with a question-and-answer session and discussions.
