Exchange of views between Azerbaijan and Mexico in regard to development of bilateral relations

On August 23, the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ali Hasanov, within his official visit to Mexico, met with Oscar Arse - the chairman of the Chamber of Deputies of the country. The Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Mexico Ilgar Mukhtarov, MP Ayaz Orujov, members of Congress of Mexico and representatives of mass media took part at the meeting, as well. Oscar Arse - the chairman of the Chamber of Deputies spoke with satisfaction about his meeting with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, MPs and members of the government, within his visit to Azerbaijan in July of the current year. He said his visit to Azerbaijan was successful and opened new prospects for future cooperation. Mentioning the satisfaction of development of relations between the two countries, the Deputy Prime Minister Ali Hasanov talked and shared his impressions about welcome of Mexico City leaders and people in the opening ceremony of Mexico-Azerbaijan Friendship Park, monument to the National Leader Heydar Aliyev and “Tlakskoake-Khojaly” square. The Deputy Prime Minister Ali Hasanov expressed deep gratitude on behalf of the Government of Azerbaijan for democratic and fair position, mentioning the adoption of resolution on confirmation of military aggression of Armenia against Azerbaijan and Khojaly genocide by the Chamber of Deputies of Mexico in December, 2011. Some issues causing mutual interest between the countries were discussed at the meeting. And so the official visit of the delegation of the Republic of Azerbaijan led by the Deputy Prime Minister Ali Hasanov was completed.
