Board meeting in an expanded format of the State Committee on Affairs of Refugees and Internally Displaced Person was held on July 26 of 2012. During the discussions of the issues included in the agenda of the board meeting held under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Deputy-chief of Dovletqachqinkom Mr Ali Hasanov it was specially noted that provision of regular care and attention of the head of state for the solution of the problems of refugees and internally displaced persons in the country, in fact, once again proves that each step taken in this regard, the signed decrees and orders by putting serious challenges in front of them created conditions to solve their various problems, in particular their social problems, as well as, it contributed to the implementation of comprehensive measures. As a result of it, during the reporting period, appropriate measures have been implemented in the direction of improvement of the social conditions of internally displaced persons, payment of funds in accordance with the relevant rules of the service organizations for food expense allowances, needs of families for fuel and public utility services and in the solution of other important issues. In addition, solving the problems of refugees and internally displaced persons is being the issue to which Mr. Ilham Aliyev, President of the country always pays more attention and takes care, and this care and attention are also being continued in the current year. Thus, implementation of more large-scale measures is intended for improving housing and living conditions of internally displaced persons, that’s currently, implementation of works in this field are being successfully continued. In the present year, at the expense of the funds allocated to this sector, together with all the social and technical infrastructure, construction of 20 five-storeyed residential building for 1440 IDP families in Mushvigabad, 13 five-storeyed in Masazir for 760 IDP families, 10 nine-storeyed for 502 IDP families in Masazir, in the territory of the municipality of Zaraghan of Gabala region 2 five –storeyed residential building for 155 IDP families, for 195 IDP families in the territory of Barda region, for 423 IDP families in Shaki, construction of the new settlements, consisting of 550 houses, and in the initial stage 325 houses in the territory of Imishli region intended to improve housing and living conditions of internally displaced persons who have been inhabited in Finnish-type settlements whose period of useful life has ended, is going on rapidly and efficiently in the areas where there is need for transfer related to the turning of this region into international tourism center in connection with the construction works that have been carried out, and it is intended to put them into use in the near future. Prime Minister Deputy-chief of Dovletqachqinkom Mr Ali Hasanov, making final speech at board meeting, by giving concrete instructions related to the discussed issues and further duties made the main focus toward the meaningful speech of President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Mr. Ilham Aliyev in the meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers dedicated to the results of the socio-economic development and future duties in the first half of 2012, he also evaluated action program of the staff of State Committee on Affairs of Refugees and Internally Displaced Person and emphasized that implementation of requirements with high-quality and timely is the main duty of each member of staff.
