Deputy Prime Minister – chair of the State Committee on Deals of Refugees and IDPs Mr. Ali Hasanov became familiar with construction work process in Mushvigabad settlement, Garadagh district

On May 11, the Deputy Prime Minister of Azerbaijan Republic – chair of the State Committee on Deals of Refugees and IDPs Mr. Ali Hasanov became familiar with construction works of the estate including living spaces under construction for IDP family in Mushvigabad settlement, Garadagh district. 20 5-storied residential buildings are under construction at the estate built for 1440 IDP family in 22 hectare area. 1296-seat school, 140-bed kindergarten, library, club, emergency medical aid station, fire station, post office will also be constructed at the estate. The estate will be supplied with gas, water, electricity, centralized heating system. At the estate, being constructed by 2 thousand workers, park and sports ground are also intended to be built. Ali Hasanov met with the heads of organizations carrying out construction works, gave them information about the activities fulfilled for improvement of housing and living conditions of IDPs in the country. He stated that funds intended for IDPs increased 2.5 times in the current year. Construction works in regard to improving living conditions of IDPs are being fulfilled in nearly ten regions of Azerbaijan at present. The Deputy Prime Minister stated that attention and care of the President of Azerbaijan Republic Mr. Ilham Aliyev to refugees and IDPs is highly appreciated by the international organizations. UN High Commissioner for Refugees Antonio Guterres, who was on visit to Azerbaijan for several times, called the work done by the head of our state in this direction, example for other states. Ali Hasanov, talking about the achievements of Azerbaijan, mentioned that according to the decision adopted by the UN Economic and Social Council, Azerbaijan was elected the member of UN High Commissioner for Refugees Executive Committee on April 26. This is one more point of influence gained by Azerbaijan on an international scale. Ali Hasanov mentioned that, as a result of the President Ilham Aliyev’s activities for the last nine years, our country successfully integrates into the world. Azerbaijan has already taken its worthy place in the world. The Deputy Prime Minister gave his instructions with regard to carrying out high level construction work at the estate.
