In Board Meeting of the State Committee on Deals of Refugees and IDPs under the chairmanship of Deputy Prime Minister – chair of State Committee on deals of Refugees Ali Hasanov, devoted to the results of previous quarter, attention was mainly directed to provisions arisen from the speech of the President of Azerbaijan Republic Mr. Ilham Aliyev at the meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers held on his chairmanship in connection with the social and economic outcomes of last quarter, 2012 and future duties. Achievements in all fields of the country were once more stressed, issues, solution of which is important, were discussed in details, ways of carrying out necessary actions were advised. Prior to discussing issues included in the agenda of board meeting it was stated that the head of our government positively evaluating at the meeting the achievements of last quarter, stressed that Azerbaijan’s independent policy, its attitude connected with international issues, the pursued in the country policy were supported by the world community. In addition to all of these, ideas of the President in his final speech, in regard to large-scale measures taken and intended to be carried out for the solution of the problems of refugees and IDPs in the country, were stressed and once again reviewed. During the reporting period, according to relevant items of Annexes to the State Program approved on President’s of Azerbaijan Republic February 21, 2011 and October 31, 2007 dated Orders, 9 5-storied residential buildings complex constructed in Goranboy region for 525 IDP family temporarily settled in sanatoria of Naftalan city, music school, administrative building, Khojaly tragedy monumental complex, estate consisting of 10 5-storied residential buildings, including social and technical infrastructures in plots of land allocated in the areas near Agjabadi with the object of improving housing and living conditions of 556 IDP family settled in Finnish-type settlements and school buildings in Agjabadi region, exploitation period of which was expired, were put into exploitation, and move to apartments in Goranboy was completed in time, also moving in Agjabadi has already started and this will be completed in next few days. Besides, during the reporting period, appropriate actions on developing design and estimate documents of objects intended to be constructed in 2012 and starting construction in various territories, were carried out. So that, in accordance with the execution of relative items of Annexes to the State Program made on October 31, 2007 dated Order, a lot of activities were fulfilled by the related department of the State Committee on deals of refugees with regard to developing of design and estimate documents of lands allocated for building settlements and constructing high residential buildings complex for 502 family in Mingachevir city, 423 in Shaki city, 195 in Barda region, 45 in Ismayilli, 550 in Imishli region, 1410 family temporarily settled in buildings belonging to military units of the Ministry of Defence of Azerbaijan Republic in Garadag district administrative territory and who are in more need of to be moved, 320 IDP family in Beylagan, also according to relevant items of Annexes to the State Program made on February 21, 2011 dated order, 758 IDP family settled in 7 hostels of Baku State University campus, 155 in Zaragan municipal territory of Gabala region, concluding contracts with construction organization to start building, conducting engineer training processes and other matters. Construction in those territories has already begun. Activities implemented in the field of increase in employment of IDPs and establishment of industrial enterprises in newly built settlements were discussed at the board. It was stated that fulfilling relative actions on increasing employment and decreasing poverty among IDPs was provided in the II item of Annexes to the State Program approved on October 31, 2007 dated Order of the President of Azerbaijan Republic, and related governmental authorities had been charged to issue concessional loans, establish small processing workshop, agro-service centres, carpet-making, weaving workshops, etc. in the areas where IDPs were temporarily densely settled. Deputy Prime Minister – chair of the State Committee on deals of Refugees Ali Hasanov summarized the board meeting and gave concrete instructions concerning the reviewed issues and future duties. He once more directed attention to the speech of the President of Azerbaijan Republic Mr. Ilham Aliyev at the meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers held in connection with the social and economic outcomes of the first quarter of 2012 and future duties, particularly to his ideas about the measures taken and intended to be carried out for the solution of the problems of refugees and IDPs. Ali Hasanov assessed the President’s recommendations as an activity program of the personnel of the State Committee on deals of Refugees and stressed that accomplishment of the set requirements in quality and in time is the principal duty for each of the collective member.
