Journalist from Spain Pablo Gonzales Yaguen visited State Committee on Deals of Refugees and IDPs

Pablo Gonzales met with Garay Farhadov, Chair deputy of State Committee on Deals of Refugees and IDPs on April 17. Garay Farhadov informed the guest in details about the Armenian-Azerbaijan, Nagorno Karabakh conflict, its historical roots and reasons, more than one million our cognates’ living as refugees and IDP as a result of military aggression of Armenia, their hard social condition, as well as the actions taken by Azerbaijan government in this field. He also stressed that a lot of work was implemented for solution of social-welfare problems of our cognates of this class till the lands’ being released. So that, Garay Farhadov stressing the facts of setting new settlements and putting into exploitation many-storied residential buildings complexes for them, continuing these activities and at present, stated that the problems of refugees and IDPs always remain on agenda as a priority issue, as the Head of our state Mr. Ilham Aliyev noted for many times. But their main problem is to return to native lands, though they are always surrounded by attention and care of the government. The meeting expressed such an assurance that the head of our state would achieve the restoration of territory integrity of Azerbaijan as a result of his successful policy and refugees-IDPs would return to their native lands. Then the guest, accompanied by Garay Farhadov, was at the foyer of the State Committee introduced the exposition and photo-stands reflecting multiple actions taken by Azerbaijan Government in the direction of solution of problems of cognates in stages. The guest visited Beylagan region and met with IDPs from Khojavand region settled there, as well.
