President of the Azerbaijan Republic mr. Ilham Aliyev got acquinted with works in the block consisting of living buildings for the internally displaced persons families in Agjabadi region.

On december 24 President of the Azerbaijan Republic mr. Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva got acquinted carrying out works in the block for the internally displaced persons families in Agjabadi. At first, President looked throught the stand reflecting the master plan of the block. The deputy of Prime Minister, the chairman of the State Committee for Refugees and Internally Displaced Persons Ali Hasanov gave information that in the results of president\'s care for interrnally displaced persons, tent camps in Agcabadi were abolished, new settlements were built for them, implemented important measures for the solving of their problems. This block consisting of ten living buildings for 560 internally displaced persons families in Agjabadi demonstrates the systematical caracter of these activites. Refugees and internally displaced persons\' removal from the temporarily living places and tent camps to the perfect new settlements is appearence of sensitive approach of state to these people. Up to now it was built 70 settlements having all the infrastructure for refugees and idps in various places of the republic. It was built 20 thousands apartaments, more than 100 thousands of our compatriots were moved to to the new houses, 130 education, about 50 health, dozens of communications and culture centres were given used, water, electric, gas lines, roads were constructed. It was noted that during the last seven years President of the Azerbaijan Republic had signed 27 Decrees and Orders, affirmed one State Program and additions to this program. Releated to the execution of these documents it was given 88 decisions and orders by the Cabinet of Ministers, the law was adopted in the National Assembly. Currently, the money allocated by Azerbaijan State to the refugees and idps is highly considered in the world scale. When giving information to President Ilham Aliyev about the tecnical indicators of the new residential districtit was noted that to the construction of this settlement had been begun in July of this year according to the president decree in 2007 about amendments to the State Program confirmed in 2004. 14 construction companies were involved to the works. The new settlement will be given used in the beginning of the next year. It was informed that buildings built in the new residental area including 10 ha is planned the removal of 560 internally displaced persons families temporarily settled in Agjabadi region. Then President Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva were in the completed apartament. They were informed that it was created all living conditions in these apartaments. The school for 360 pupils was built, kindergartaen for 50 children was built. Club-communication centres and administrative building were built here. Transfarmator semi-station was constructed here for the providion of the block with permanent electric energy. It was built two water resorvoirs including 500 cubic meters for provide the water demands of inhabitants, new water lines were constructed. Gasification works were carried out, gas regulator station was installed. Road-street network had been established at highest level. At the end the head of the state gave his instructions and recommendations releated to the high level of completion of works in the block.
