The State Committee on the Affairs of Refugees and İnternally Displaced Persons together with the Social Development Fund of Internally Displaced Persons organized iftar (fast-breaking ) meal for internally displaced persons and martyrs’ families from regions of which territories were occupied.

One of the greatest prayers in holy month of Ramadan looked forward by the entire Muslim world is fasting. Giving iftar meal to a fasting person is as good as fasting itself. On August 22, 2011 the State Committee on the affairs of refugees and internally displaced persons together with the Social Development Fund gave iftar meal to 200 people from internally displaced families and martyrs’ families from regions of which territories were occupied to acquire merit in God’s sight just for this sacred deed and to support low-income stratum of the society somewhat. Loving people, taking care of them, sharing their grief, helping our compatriots driven out of their lands, poor families in their sample within our own means are at least human and civic duty. We always should do this good deed. In the end the participants of the event, internally displaced families and martyrs’ families expressed acknowledgement to the organizers for iftar meal.
