A book titled “Gorus-2010: season of absurd theatre” was discussed in the State Committee on the Affairs of refuges and internally displaced persons

Chief of Presidential Administration of Azerbaijan, academic Ramiz Mehdiyev’s book titled “Gorus-2010: Season of Absurd Theatre” by was discussed in the State Committee on the Affairs of refuges and internally displace d persons during the Republic day on May 27, 2011. Executives of Presidential Administration, the Cabinet of Ministers, Milli Majlis deputies selected from occupied regions, head of executive powers of these regions, employees of the Committee participated in the event. Fresh roses were placed over the monument of National Leader Heydar Aliyev’s corner before the event. Deputy prime minister, chairman of State Committee on the Affairs of Refugees and Internally Displaced Persons, Ali Hasanov clarified why Armenian President Serj Sarkisyan choice just Gorus for Absurd Theatre: - “Gorus Armenians have always been distinguished for their anti-Turk position and with their cruelty against Turks” he said. He also stated that, academic Ramiz Mehdiyev could uncover true face of S. Sarkisyan, exposed with evidences the endeavor of Armenian leaders to distort history, to confuse community with new inventions and falsehoods in this book. With historical facts he informed that the Armenian state was created on ancient Azerbaijani lands, that Armenians were strangers in the South Caucasus. Ali Hasanov peculiarly declared that prominent philosopher used the works of Russian historians, just Armenian scientists to expose Armenian falsehood. Deputy Prime Minister called the book just a huge propaganda material. Milli Majlis Deputy, a corresponding member of ANAS, Bakhtiyar Aliyev mentioned that, “Gorus-2010: Season of Absurd Theatre” book is devoted to the solution of a very important matter for our people and estimate the processes not only in the Caucasus but also over Europe. Because an accident happened in one territory doesn’t bear a local character. Because there is a globalization process is still going in the World on and the South Caucasus, first Azerbaijan is rapidly getting integrated into the European system, world community. Thus there it’s impossible to consider any problem to have regional character in a region. The orator said that, Armenians had always aspired to realize their illusory idea about “Great Armenia”. Then they never predicated and spoke on kindness by Azerbaijan people for them. In general, the history shows that, Armenians have always betrayed the countries, nations patronized them. Making a speech at the event, representative of Presidential Administration Vugar Salimov, Head of Executive Power of Lachin region Ramiz Jabrayilov, on behalf of internally displaced persons Isbandiyar Abdulazimov appreciated “Gorus-2010: Season of Absurd Theatre” book - that valid answer against Armenian falsehood.
