Prime Minister Deputy - chairman of state Committee on refugees and internally displaced persons Hasanov Ali held the press conference in the central headquarter of New Azerbaijan Party. Prime Minister Deputy informed about the works done to improve social condition of refugees and IDPs, noted that three orders have been signed by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan regarding that up today. Hasanov Ali also declared that “State Program on improvement of living conditions and employment for refugees and internally displaced persons” approved by the Decree of July 01, 2004 of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the appendixes to it have been implemented successfully. The chairman of the Committee informed about the affairs on the Decree of February 21, 2011 of the President in accordance with additional measures for improving living condition of all internally displaced families. A. Hasanov stated that, 67 new settlements have been constructed for refugees and IDPs in different cities and regions of our Republic, over 100 thousand countrymen have been moved to new houses. 130 educational, about 50 medical centers, tens communicational and cultural centers have been constructed and have been put into use. A. Hasanov stressed that 3,7 billion manat have been spent for refugees and IDPs up to date, 2,1 billion manats of that have been spent of state budged, 860 billion manats of State Oil Foundation, but 740 billion dollars of international humanitarian and development organizations. A. Hasanov, who spoke about the affairs had been increased rapidly to realize the measures intended in State Program, said that 552 houses would be put into operation in Takhtakorpu territory of Aghjabadi region for IDPs from in Lachin region next two-three months. The construction of five-story building will be finished in Goranboy region. IDPs that are living in Naftalan sanatorium will be settled in those buildings and Naftalan sanatorium will be emptied completely. 10 nine – story buildings are also going to be constructed in Mingecheur the next few days. Clearing up the false information in some papers about Armenian refugees’ documents as if had been burned by the Committee, the chairman of the Committee stressed that the documents of Armenian refugees are kept with them and there can be no question of the burned documents. Finally, Ali Hasanov answered the questions by the journalists were interested in.
