An event was held on the theme of “Heydar Aliyev and internally displaced youth” related with 88th birth anniversary of Heydar Aliyev, National Leader of Azerbaijan people.

The winners of the contest held between the refugee and internally displaced pupils were awarded related with the 88th anniversary of Great Leader, Heydar Aliyev’s birth in the State Committee on deals of Refugees and Internally Displaced Persons and discussions were held on the theme of “Heydar Aliyev and internally displaced youth”. Chief of the Political Analysis and Information Provision Department of Administration of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Elnur Aslanov, Minister of Youth and Sports Intigam Babayev, Deputies of Milli Majlis, state and government officials participated in the event. At first the participants recalled the memory of Heydar Aliyev with respect and placed a bunch of flowers before the monument. The deputy of Prime Minister, chairman of SCDRIDP, Ali Hasanov opening the event with opening statement informed about that the event was held together with Heydar Aliyev Foundation. A. Hasanov notified that the pupils presented 73 official papers, 65 poems and stories for the contest. 20 pupils were decided to be awarded money prizes and diplomas after the estimation of the materials presented for the contest by the specialists of Union of Azerbaijan Painters and Writers. A. Hasanov has presented diplomas and money prizes in the amount of 300 manats to the pupils of refugees and internally displaced schools gaining the first place and 200 and 150 manats for the second and third places in the contest. Then event participants held discussions on the theme of “Heydar Aliyev and internally displaced youth”. Ali Hasanov stressed the importance of the works done by national leader, Heydar Aliyev in the direction of state system strengthening, economic development of the country, and improvement of living conditions for refugees and IDPs. He informed that great leader, Heydar Aliyev always tried to advance Azerbaijani youth during soviets period and achieved their integration to Soviet Union. Chairman of the committee noted that this policy was still continued by the President Ilham Aliyev in the direction of integration of the youth to Europe. Chief of the Political Analysis and Information Provision Department of Administration of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Elnur Aslanov stressed that Azerbaijan became a power center of the region than the country facing with the danger of separation recent 20 years. He estimated it as a logical result of statesman Heydar Aliyev’s selfless labour, farsighted policy. E.Aslanov brought to notice that Azerbaijanism ideas of Heydar Aliyev gave a great push to the development of our country. He called the youth to announce their opinions and proposals, wish and desires thereby noticing that the works were done on preparation of State Program related with Azerbaijan youth as per appropriate Decree of the President Ilham Aliyev. Representatives of youth organizations of occupied regions stressed that they would always be faithful to the development strategy of great leader, Heydar Aliyev appearing in the event. At the end event participants watched the video reel dedicated to national leader, Heydar Aliyev.
