Iranian Healthcare Minister’s Consultant, Secretary General of the Republican Healthcare Charity Union meets internally displaced persons

On 24 December Seyyid Rza Nayyuri, Iranian Healthcare Minister’s Consultant, Secretary General of the Republican Healthcare Charity Union, who is paying a visit to our country, met with internally displaced persons temporarily settled in nine storey buildings constructed in the area of the house building entity #2 in Binagadi district of Baku. Gurban Sadigov, Chief of the Cabinet of Ministers’ Apparatus Department for Problems of Refugees, IDPs, Migration and Work with International Organizations briefed the guest about the works done by the Government in the field of improvement of living social conditions of internally displaced people. He stated that the solution of the problems of refugees and IDPs is the number one priority. The IDPs placed in the six nine storey buildings used to live in unfinished structures, in buildings with unbearable conditions. There is a school building constructed in the area with the capacity of 260 children. Seyyid Rza Nayyuri got familiar with the condition in the apartment of Manya Ismayilova, internally displaced from Zangilan. The internally displaced persons expressed their support to the policy run by the Azerbaijani President, as well as emphasized their desire to return back to their homeland. The guest appreciated the chance to opportunity created to meet internally displaced people.
