The new Chairman of the State Committee for Refugees and IDPs Rovshan Shukur Rzayev was introduced to the staff of the Committee

On April 24, 2018, the Head of the Administration of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ramiz Mehdiyev introduced the newly appointed Chairman of the Committee Rovshan Rzayev to the staff of the Committee and wished him success in his work. Ramiz Mehdiyev, who introduced the new Chairman of the Committee, spoke about Rovshan Rzayev`s life and work experience. Ramiz Mehdiyev noted that great work has been done by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Mr. Ilham Aliyev to improve the living conditions of refugees and internally displaced persons who are the most vulnerable group of the population, and emphasized that the work in this direction will continue. Ramiz Mehdiyev gave his relevant advice and recommendations to the staff of the Committee to achieve the tasks set forth by the President of the country. Rovshan Rzayev, the newly appointed Chairman of the Committee, expressed his gratitude for the high trust shown to him by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Mr. Ilham Aliyev and noted that he will duly fulfill the duties set forth concerning refugees and internally displaced persons. It should be noted that Rovshan Shukur Rzayev was appointed as the Chairman of the State Committee for Refugees and IDPs by the Order of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated on April 21, 2018.
