In line with the instructions of President Ilham Aliyev, the Great Return to the territories liberated from occupation continues. Those relocating to Khojavend city, the Girmizi Bazar settlement, and Khanoba village of Khojavend district are families who had been temporarily settled in various parts of the country, mainly in dormitories, sanatoriums, and administrative buildings.
At this stage, 39 families – 176 people have been relocated to Khojavend city, 16 families – 63 people to the Girmizi Bazar settlement, and 13 families – 60 people to Khanoba village. Residents returning to their native homeland expressed their gratitude to President Ilham Aliyev and First Vice-President Mehriban Aliyeva for the comprehensive state care provided to them.
They also expressed their appreciation to the brave Azerbaijani Army, our heroic soldiers and officers who liberated our lands, and prayed for mercy for the martyrs who sacrificed their lives on this path.
