On 18 October Ali Hasanov, Deputy Prime Minister, Head of the State Committee on Refugees and IDPs Issues gave an interview to Sergey Svets, a Correspondent of the Ukrainian “1+1” TV Channel. Ali Hasanov has talked about the historical roots of the Armenia-Azerbaijan, Nagorno Karabakh conflict, problems of over one million refugees and IDPs displaced as a result of this conflict, difficulties faced by these people throughout the years, large scale measures taken by the Government in recent years in the direction of the solution of their problems, as well as about other fields to respond the questions asked by the Correspondent. It should be mentioned that on 19 October, with the company of Committee officials, Sergey Svets, a Correspondent of the “1+1” TV Channel paid a visit to new IDP settlements in Fuzuli to get familiar with the conditions established for internally displaced people.
