German mass media representatives visiting to our country is received by Mr.Ali Hasanov

On 7 June, with an invitation by the Representation of the Europe-Azerbaijan Society, the following mass media representatives were received by Ali Hasanov, Deputy Prime minister, Head of the State Committee on Refugees and IDPs Issues: Tobias Asmus, Editor of the “Redaktion und Altag” news agency, Daniel Vechlin, Editor of the “Neue Zurcher Zeitung” Newspaper, Damir Fras, Editor of the “Berliner Zeitung” Newspaper on foreign policy issues, Klaus Heymach, Independent Journalist, and Tomas Orabka, professional Photographer. During the meeting there were given comprehensive information about the country’s displacement problem caused by the Armenia-Azerbaijan, Nagorno Karabakh conflict, the measures taken by the State in the appropriate field, the efforts made in the direction of improvement of living conditions of refugees and IDPs, as well as the future objectives. During the meeting there was also mutual exchange of views based on various issues of interest of the guests. The German guests expressed their gratitude for the informative briefing and frank reception. Within the framework of the mission, the representatives of the German mass media paid a field visit to Aghjabedi, Aghdam, Tartar and Yevlakh regions on 8-9 June in order to get familiar with the living conditions of internally displaced people. An SCR official accompanied the guests during the visit.
