Meetings were held with IDPs temporally settled in Sumgait and Baku

On February 28, Deputy Prime Minister of Azerbaijan Republic, Chairman of the State Committee on Deals of Refugees and IDPs Ali Hasanov met with IDPs temporarily settled in “Sumgait” inn located at Sumgait. Ali Hasanov closely familiarized with living conditions of IDPs and inquired about their problems. IDPs said that they have been surrounded by care and attention of President of Azerbaijan Republic Ilham Aliyev and the First Vice-President Mehriban Aliyeva and they are sure that other problems of them will also be solved in a short period. Later, a meeting was held in “28 May” Cultural Centre with IDPs from Gubadli and other regions that have settled in the city and surrounding areas. IDPs highlighted that their lands will be liberated from Armenian occupants under the leadership of Supreme Commander Ilham Aliyev and they will return back to their native lands soon. Making a speech at the meeting, Deputy Prime Minister Ali Hasanov stated that, Gubadli people always made great contributions to Azerbaijani government and people. The chairman of Committee mentioned that, the President of Azerbaijan Republic highly focuses on the improvement of people’s social welfare and resolution of the problems they face. Clarifying the problems highlighted during the speeches, Ali Hasanov said that works began to improve housing conditions of IDPs settled in Sumgait. Some places have already been chosen for the construction of some buildings and construction works will be started soon. Ali Hasanov said that, President Ilham Aliyev always focuses on the solution of problems of IDPs and pays special attention to the problem of each of them. Chairman of Committee noted that our lands will be liberated and all IDPs will return back to their native lands as a result of consistent policy pursued by the President of Azerbaijan Republic and he said: “We will return back to those lands. The April battles showed that, Azerbaijani Army is always ready to liberate its lands at every moment. Azerbaijani President doesn’t want the bloodsheds and mothers with tearful eyes. And ordinary people in Armenia understand it. In the letter to his mother an Armenian soldier writes: Why should I die in someone else's lands? This is the result of the works we have done, the success of our diplomacy. " X X X On February 28, Deputy Prime Minister Ali Hasanov also visited the building of “Energetika” boarding house in Khazar district, Baku and unfinished, 9-storey building in Khatai distict, 20A Ganja avenue and met with IDPs settled there.
