Deputy Prime Minister Ali Hasanov visited the liberated village Jojug Marjanli of Jabrayil region.

On November 17, based on the instructions of President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Mr. Ilham Aliyev, Deputy Prime Minister, Chairman of the State Committee on Deals of Refugees and IDPs Ali Hasanov arrived in the only liberated village Jojug Marjanli of Jabrayil region. Deputy Prime Minister got acquainted with the situation in Jojug Marjanli village which was previously occupied in 1993 by Armenian occupation army, but later was liberated during successful Horadiz operation realized on the instructions of National Leader of our people Heydar Aliyev. After that Ali Hasanov visited the family of Haziyev Oktay Abil consisting of 7 members, which is the only family and has been living in Jojug Marjanli village for 23 years. During the conversation with family members, Oktay Haziyev stated that, they have temporarily settled in other places after the occupation of village. And they have faced with indifference of some people in those places. But, after the successful Horadiz operation led by National Leader Heydar Aliyev they have returned to their liberated native villages. Saying how it is difficult to live far from your native land Oktay Haziyev stated that, living in your land after liberation was also the feeling of dignity and pride. During the conversation, Deputy Prime Minister mentioned that, the so-called President of Armenia Sargsyan announced that they would invade Beylagan region. On November 1993, the National Leader of our people Heydar Aliyev addressed the people on TV. Later in December, he met with soldiers and successful Horadiz operation was planned. During the successful operation implemented in the late December of 1993 our army liberated these territories. On April 1994, National Leader Heydar Aliyev arrived in Fuzuli region, met with soldiers in fighting trenches. He congratulated them on the occasion of victory and ordered for the restoration of the liberated territories, reconstruction of those areas. Oktay Haziyev stated that, we have been living here upon the liberation of our village. There is no danger for a living here, we live completely free and in peace. Because we have a Commander-in-chief like Ilham Aliyev, and a strong, powerful army. We are engaged in agriculture and livestock here. We plant clover, barley corn and melons. We keep about 600 livestocks, about 70 cattles, about 300 chickens. At the same time we are engaged in beekeeping. Government provides any kind of support to us. In order to be engaged in agriculture, all necessary equipments were given by Agroleasing OJSC. There is water, electricity, gas, in short, all conditions in our village. Our security was strengthened more after the liberation of Lala Tapa high hill. Arrival of Mr. President in Lala Tapa high hill, meeting of him with the soldiers defending our territories did us proud and created a great enthusiasm in us. Deputy Prime Minister stated that, like Horadiz operation, the April operation is also a glorious page in the history of Azerbaijan. President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Mr. Ilham Aliyev gave message from Lala Tapa high hill to the whole world, Armenia and its occupant President. Today we have a very strong army. Our powerful army is able to liberate our territories occupied. April battles proved it once again. But Commander-in-chief Ilham Aliyev supports the resolution of this problem peacefully. He doesn’t want to shed blood again. However, unless Armenia enter into negotiation, we will absolutely liberate our lands by war. It is our right. During the conversation with family, 84 years old mother of Oktay Haziyev Minara Hakiyeva spoke about events she have faced and noted that, all these didn’t make her turn from her way. She will live in her native village until the end of her life and she recommended it to her children too.
